Each massage is customized specifically for your needs and could include elements of relaxation, deep tissue, myofascial cupping, and shiatsu massages.

My offerings include:

Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage involves applying firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deeper layers of muscle and fascia (the connective tissue surrounding muscles). This type of massage is used for chronic aches and pain and contracted areas such as a stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, and sore shoulders. It is often used in conjunction with therapeutic massage. With therapeutic massage, both the client and practitioner have a shared goal of achieving structural changes, pain relief, and healing within the body, generally through a series of regular massages.

Relaxation & Self-care Massage
Relaxation massage is all about relaxing. It focuses on giving the client time to recover from the stresses of daily life. When you experience relaxation massage, you can expect a treatment that involves:
-Long smooth gliding strokes that are rhythmic and flowing
-Pressure that is deeply relaxing, but not painful
-A treatment that is designed to soothe and relax you, not to relieve chronic pain or other underlying ailments
-Soothing music, warm luxurious towels, and occasionally the use of essential oils to enhance both the environment and the effects of the massage

Hot Stone Massage
Hot stone massage is a type of massage therapy that involves the use of smooth, heated stones. The massage therapist places the hot stones on specific points on your body and may also hold the stones while giving the massage. The localized heat and weight of the stones warm and relax muscles, allowing the massage therapist to apply deeper pressure to those areas without causing discomfort.

Myofascial Cupping Massage
*Any massage can include some cupping, upon request
Myofascial cupping is an adjunct therapy technique that can further relieve pain and tightness of your sore muscles and fascia. This history of cupping dates back as early as 3,000 BC in Egyptian, Greek and Asian cultures where the intention was to affect energy meridians as well as physical structures. The modern day adaptation of Myofascial Cupping is where a cup is applied to the skin and the pressure in the cup is reduced by suctioning out air, so that the skin and superficial muscle layer is drawn into and held in the cup. In some cases, the cup may be moved while the suction of skin is active, causing a regional pulling of the skin and muscle and therefore a more broad release.

Lomi Lomi Hawai’ian Massage
This type of massage is best known for long, flowing, dance-like strokes, often using the forearms and generous amounts of oil. I move in long flowing motions that, for example, may start at the top of your shoulder and go all the way to your foot. The difference between regular Swedish Massage & Lomi Lomi lies in the Hawaiian traditions woven into the massage, including the belief that "loving hands" help you release not only physical tension but also mental, emotional and spiritual blockages.

Shiatsu-inspired Massage
Shiatsu is a form of therapeutic traditional bodywork from Japan. It uses kneading, pressing, soothing, tapping, and stretching techniques and is performed without oils through the massage sheet or light, comfortable clothing.
